1) Introduction
PETRONILLA SRL takes user privacy very seriously and is committed to respecting it. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the personal data processing activities carried out by PETRONILLA SRL through the website www.petronillahotel.com and the related commitments made by the Company in this regard. PETRONILLA SRL may process users’ personal data when they visit the Site and use the services and features available on the Site. In the sections of the Site where users’ personal data are collected, a specific notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 15 of EU Reg. 2016/679 is published.
Where required by EU Reg. 2016/679, user consent will be requested before processing their personal data. If the user provides personal data of third parties, they must ensure that the communication of such data to PETRONILLA SRL and the subsequent processing for the purposes specified in the applicable privacy notice comply with EU Reg. 2016/679 and applicable law.

3) Types of Data Processed
In addition to so‑called “navigation data” (see below), the following personal data may be processed if voluntarily provided by the user when interacting with the Site’s features or requesting the services offered on the Site. In compliance with the Privacy Code, PETRONILLA SRL may also collect personal data about the user from third parties during the course of its business activities.
4) Cookies and Navigation Data
The Site uses “cookies.” By using the Site, the user consents to the use of cookies in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s hard drive. There are two main categories of cookies: technical cookies and profiling cookies.
Technical cookies are necessary for the correct functioning of a website and to allow user navigation; without them the user might not be able to view pages correctly or use some services.
Profiling cookies are used to create user profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the user’s browsing preferences.

- Third‑party persistent cookies used by the Site to send statistical information to Google Analytics, through which PETRONILLA SRL can perform statistical analyses of Site access/visits. Through a pair of cookies—one persistent and one session (expiring at browser close)—Google Analytics also records timestamps of when visits to the Site begin and end. PETRONILLA SRL does not access or control cookies, web beacons, or other tracking technologies that may be used by third‑party sites; PETRONILLA SRL does not control content or materials published by or obtained through third‑party sites, nor the processing of users’ personal data by such sites, and expressly disclaims any liability in this regard. Users should review the privacy policies of third‑party sites they access via the Site to understand their data‑processing practices. This Privacy Policy applies solely to the Site as defined above.
6) How to Disable Cookies in Browsers
Internet Explorer – To block cookies, click the gear icon in the top right, select Internet Options, go to the Privacy tab, click Advanced, check “Override automatic cookie handling,” and select “Block” for both “First‑party Cookies” and “Third‑party Cookies.”
Google Chrome – Click the Menu button in the top right, select Settings, scroll down and click “Show advanced settings,” then click “Content settings.” Check “Block sites from setting any data” to prevent cookies altogether and/or “Block third‑party cookies and site data.”
Firefox – Click the Menu button in the top right, select Options, go to the Privacy tab, set “History” to “Use custom settings,” and uncheck “Accept cookies from sites.” To block only third‑party cookies, set “Accept third‑party cookies” to “Never.”
Safari – On a Mac, select Preferences from the Safari menu, go to the Privacy tab, and check “Always block” to disable all cookies.
7) Data Retention
Personal data are stored and processed using IT systems owned by PETRONILLA SRL or by third‑party service providers.
8) Purposes and Methods of Data Processing
PETRONILLA SRL may process users’ personal data for the following purposes:
- Use of services and features available on the Site;
- Management of requests and reports submitted by users;
- Sending of newsletters;
- Management of job applications received through the Site.
Data are processed electronically and entered into the Company’s information system in full compliance with EU Reg. 2016/679, including security and confidentiality measures, and adhering to principles of fairness and lawfulness. In accordance with EU Reg. 2016/679, data are retained for 10 years.
9) Security and Data Quality
PETRONILLA SRL is committed to protecting the security of users’ personal data and complies with applicable security regulations to prevent data loss, unlawful or illicit use, and unauthorized access, with specific reference to the Technical Specifications on minimum security measures. The IT systems and software used by PETRONILLA SRL are configured to minimize the use of personal and identifying data; such data are processed only for the specific purposes for which they were collected. PETRONILLA SRL employs advanced security technologies and procedures to safeguard users’ personal data; for example, personal data are stored on secure servers in protected and controlled environments. Users can help PETRONILLA SRL keep their personal data accurate by notifying the Company of any changes to their address, title, or contact information.
10) Data Disclosure and Access
Users’ personal data may be disclosed to:
- Any parties entitled to access such data under statutory provisions;
- Our collaborators and employees, within the scope of their duties;
- Any natural or legal persons, public or private, when disclosure is necessary or functional to the conduct of our business and for the purposes described above.
11) Mandatory or Optional Provision of Personal Data
Provision of certain personal data by the user is mandatory to allow the Company to manage communications and requests or to contact the user; such data are marked with an asterisk [*], and failure to provide them will make it impossible for the Company to proceed with the request. Provision of other data not marked with an asterisk is optional and will have no consequences for the user. Provision of personal data for marketing purposes, as specified in the “Purposes and Methods of Data Processing” section, is optional and refusal to provide such data will have no consequences. Consent for marketing purposes is deemed extended to communications sent via automated or traditional means, as described above.
12) Data Subject Rights
Under the Regulation (Articles 15–22), the data subject may exercise the following rights against the data controller/co‑controllers:
- Right of Access: the right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning them are being processed and to access those data;
- Right to Rectification: the right to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- Right to Erasure: the right to request deletion of their personal data and cessation of processing;
- Right to Restriction of Processing: the right to request limitation of data processing;
- Right to Data Portability: the right to receive their personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine‑readable format and to transmit those data to another controller;
- Right to Object: the right to object to processing in the cases provided by the GDPR, at any time and without justification;
- Right not to be Subject to Automated Decision‑making: the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them.
The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
13) Withdrawal of Consent
If processing is based on consent pursuant to Article 7 of EU Reg. 2016/679, the data subject may withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal, by sending an email with the subject “WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT” to:
